Account Deletion
How to request deletion of your account and personal data.

These terms govern your use of Neroo, a community monetisation platform operated by Rivertech Solutions Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
1Your Right to Delete
You have the right to request deletion of your Neroo account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This applies to both community owners and members.
2How to Submit a Request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
In your email, please include:
- The phone number or Telegram username linked to your Neroo account
- Whether you are a community owner or a member
- A brief confirmation that you want your account and data deleted

- Your Neroo account profile and login credentials
- Your Telegram and WhatsApp account links
- Your phone number stored in our system
- Your group configuration, payment page settings, and member records (for owners)
- Your subscription and invite link records (for members)
- Your dashboard access and session tokens
4What We Are Required to Retain
Some data cannot be deleted immediately due to legal obligations under Nigerian financial regulations and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023:
- Transaction records and payout logs — retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by Nigerian financial record-keeping rules
- KYC documents — retained for 5 years after account closure where verification was completed
These records are retained in compliance with the law and are not used for any other purpose after your account is closed.
5Processing Time
We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted. If we need any clarification, we will contact you at the email address you wrote from.
